“I don’t want to die. I want to stop feeling these things. I’m so scared.”
Christie Brewer,

Lyme symptoms, such as those that make you feel like your are going to pass out, are very scary, and sometimes life threatening. Blood volume decreases dramatically and sometimes as much as 2 liters of IV saline is needed to bring blood volume to normal.
Lyme also causes severe joint and muscle pain.
The lyme bacteria causes proteins to stick to your brain cells, causing brain fog, or an inability to think clearly. It invades the heart muscle, causing damage to the heart and irregular heart beat. It causes the blood vessels to weaken and not pump adequately. Lyme can invade every organ of the body and cause it to weaken and deteriorate.
If lyme is caught early enough and treated aggressively enough, these symptoms diminish and hopefully end. But not caught early, the symptoms can become permenant.
Added to this is the fact that many doctors are afraid to treat lyme aggressively because some in the medical establishment have deemed short term antibiotic therapy to be sufficient.
Please help support those who cannot afford to see lyme-literate medical doctors, and who need help while recovering from this dreadful disease.
